Here is my Star Wars Vintage Collection!

I took this pictures for insurance purposes. Gotta keep track of my goodies in case of thief or nature disaster. Have you catalog your collections today? :) Oh and remember to "Not" claim your collection as collectibles. Trust me, it will help you in the long run because you will need a raider. That can cause you much headache in the long run. Claim it as "un-open toys." Just as easy as that. Oh... of course this applies to United State Laws and not elsewhere. Sorry international collectors, check your company's policy for rules and details of how they operated.

I purchase what I like. I don't wish to have the complete collection of Vintage line.

In the back, there is my big Millennium Falcon (Legacy Collection), Vintage Collection Landspeeder, Rogue Shadow Titanium, C-9970 Landing Craft Titanium, Aayla Secura's Starfighter Titanium, and many other rare Titanium ships.

Enjoy and keep collecting!

I highly suggest you go to Ebay.com and type in Revenge Admiral Ackbar Vintage Collection and type in Return of the Jedi Admiral Ackbar to see which one worth more. That's what I would do. :) Cheers

*whistle* Wow, very impressive collection! My brother used to collect those titanium ships! And then Target stopped selling them or something which is a real bummer because he used to love those. :(
Either way, nice collection!

Good news and bad news.... The bad news first... The reason Target and other retailers stop selling the Titanium ships is because Hasbro has put a stop on that toy line. It has been running for 3 years or so. Hasbro decided that it needs to discontinue for some reason.

Good news, Hasbro decided to bring back Titanium toy in a 3 pack instead of a single pack. Fans would be happy to see Titanium toy line will soon be back at their local retailers. The only issue I see here is they are mostly repacked. Just be happy about it I guess.

Also, does your brother has the "Rogue Shadow"? Just like the one I have here in the picture? It is very hard to find.

Very nice collection. I have a C3PO I bought after Star Wars came out in 1977. It is still in the package. Is it worth anything?

Of course it is worth something. In fact, a lot. :) Search in Ebay to see what other people is selling the C3PO (un-open) that you have.

Thanks. The last time I looked on Ebay (months ago) I couldn't find the 1977 version...but I will keep looking. I would like to sell it because if my children find it, it probably will end up outside in the dirt (where all toys seem to end up).

can you take a picture of it and post it in Deviant Art to show it off to everyone? Perhaps you might even find collection who can tell you how much its worth or might be interested in buying too. Link me if you ever did post it here. :)

I know what you mean. To me, I think these figures are just not as good as GIjoe figures. In fact, I open two of the vintage figures and rather disappointed compare to Transformers and GIjoe figures. There just not as articulated and the detail of the human faces lack quality. They look better not open instead.

I was actually saying that the figures aren't as good boxed as opened. I can however see your point on some of the figures (particularly the heads). Darth Sidious is amazing though. It's like they froze the frame where he's slashing at Yoda (right before they go back to Anakin & Obi-Wan fighting).

To be fair they are trying to capture a human likeness, where as the GI Joe figs are not. The GI Joe Movie versions are not as good as the other lines for example (facially).

I have loved the articulation on the figures I've opened. Which 2 did you open that u didn't like?

I opened Luke Bespin and Sandtrooper.

Oh about GIJoe, yes the movie line does bit because they are trying to meet the movie deadline. Everything suffer in movie lines because every companies is trying to rush their product out to meet up with the movie release. Any movie videos bites the big one. Movie toy lines bites in opinion but someone people does like the Transfomers movie toy line.

What I really like about the GIJoe line is the 25th Anniversary line And the Pursuit of Cobra line. I have to say, Pursuit of Cobra line is Hasbro BEST GIJoe line ever hands down!~ :) Which happens to get me back into Joe collecting.

For Transformers it is because of Generations One Line by Hasbro. This is one amazing toy line! True to the G1 Homage and the articulation is sick~ Totally love the way look in robot mode and in vehicle mode too~ Simply Fantastic piece of art.

Star Wars, got back into it because of the Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon. After getting that, I need to buy a few definitive Star Wars figures for my Falcon. Then I realize a good size of my collection is from the Vintage Collection line. Then it get side track and collect the Clone Wars line too. :)

Marvel Universe Line - Well... hmmm... I only purchase 4 figures. Not much impress with this toy line. Just my IMHO~

* G1 Optimus Prime
* Cobra Night Raven
* Constructicons Devastator
* G1 Metroplex
* Cobra Moray Hydrofoil

I actually had to look up the names LOL hahah I forget~

well, the key word is I "Had" them at one point. They are all either destroy, stolen, or given to my baby cousins while they are growing up... which means... Destroy again. Giving it to your cousins is like feeding it to a paper shredder. lol
